Absolutely love these! My 16yr son on the autism spectrum w/sensory issues seeks these out and manipulates with ease while watching to. Great for hand strengthening. We didn't tell him he could pull them apart, so he just configures the very smooth, colorful attached balls. Anxiety level drops while he mindlessly plays with them. Busy hands mean he isn't mindlessly chewing on his skin or nails or quietly tearing paper which is a calming, linear movement (not madly). Best investment ever!
