About Us

Our goal is to offer person-centered interventions, rather than promoting any specific therapy. Our resources are evidence-based, easy to use, and have been carefully curated by our advisory board.

Launched by National Autism Resources, we specialize in creating practical, expert-backed solutions for families homeschooling students on the spectrum. Our tools are designed by parents, educators, and therapists who are working with the challenges of neurodiverse learning. Our advisory board includes an award-winning author, a former LAUSD Teacher of the Year, and therapists with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals on the spectrum.

Why We’re Different

In 1999, our founder, Bonnie Arnwine, began researching autism after her son’s diagnosis. Frustrated by the lack of tailored educational tools, she homeschooled her children to help them thrive. That hands-on experience led to the creation of National Autism Resources in 2008, and later, Autism Homeschool Resources—a platform built on:

  • 15+ years of expertise in autism education.
  • Real-world testing with families and professionals.
  • No-nonsense solutions that prioritize self-regulation, practical content, and academic progress.

Our Tools Deliver Real Outcomes

  • Close Learning Gaps: Evidence-based curriculum designed and tested on real learners.
  • Build Independence: Tools teaching life skills like time management, community access, and self-care.
  • Reduce Overwhelm: Sensory-friendly aids to promote focus and reduce anxiety.

Our Commitment to You

  1. Evidence-Based Products: No gimmicks—just strategies backed by research and objective feedback.

A Message from Bonnie, Our Founder

In 1999, my son was diagnosed with autism. At that time, I used my research background to learn as much as I could about autism. During this time, I homeschooled him for two years to address his unique academic and developmental needs. That experience led to the launch of National Autism Resources in 2008.

Today, Autism Homeschool Resources reflects everything I wish I’d had back then: practical tools tested by parents, strategies vetted by therapists, and curriculum designed to make learning effective and enjoyable. Every product we offer is designed to address real challenges and provide the actual solutions you need.

I sincerely hope you find this site helpful.
