The Social and Emotional Competence Game

The Social and Emotional Competence Game is a fun and interactive way for children to develop essential life skills while enjoying playtime. This game uses effective strategies to help kids improve skills like recognizing their emotions, managing their behavior, getting along with others, and making positive choices.

Players roll the dice, move their pieces around the board, and answer questions based on the situation cards they land on. The cards are color-coded and cover essential topics such as sharing feelings, working together, caring, communicating effectively, and resolving conflicts. Players earn chips for correct answers, and if they land on a "spin" space, they get to spin the wheel to either gain or lose chips. Unique "detour" spaces focus on practicing specific social skills. The player with the most chips at the end of the game wins!

Contents: 1 game board, 6 player pieces, 1 dice, 1 spinner, 250 situation cards (50 for each topic), 100 chips, instruction sheet, and facilitator guide.
