The Behavior Reminder Card set helps teach children the difference between undesirable behaviors and the positive actions we want to encourage. It’s designed to help you communicate expectations and guide your child using simple, clear visuals.
Each card has two images: the top one shows the misbehavior with a red “NOT” symbol over it, while the bottom one displays the correct behavior. You can fold the cards so the negative behavior is visible first, then flip them to show the appropriate behavior.
Some of the behaviors covered include:
“Please DON’T run! Please WALK!”
“Please DON’T touch! Please keep your HANDS to YOURSELF!”
“Please DON’T argue! Please BE NICE to EACH OTHER!”
The set includes 20 sturdy, laminated cards (4.25” x 5.25”) that are easy for kids to understand and follow. Don D'Amore, an experienced speech-language pathologist who has spent over 30 years using visual tools to help with communication, created these cards.
